Hotels are selected daily according to the storm track and the area the group will head to. Although the hotels are not luxury resorts, they will be clean, safe and comfortable, and from well-known hotel chains. The hotel and place of stay may differ each day depending on the weather and the chase location.
All payments are made in UAE dirhams. Amounts stated in Kuwaiti dinars are approximate and for guidance only, and the final amount may vary according to the exchange rate applied at the time of payment.
This is a genuine field trip chasing tornadoes and storms, not a traditional sightseeing tour with a fixed programme. Every day of the trip depends directly on the weather forecast, and driving routes, cities and states, daily distances, hotel locations and names, departure and arrival times, and the daily schedule may all change. Nature determines the course of the trip, and flexibility is an essential part of the experience.
Although the aim of the trip is to chase tornadoes and storms, seeing a tornado during the trip cannot be guaranteed. The chances of sightings depend entirely on weather conditions and nature, and routes are set daily based on weather forecasts in order to reach the best possible locations. The trip remains a complete experience of following storms, lightning and thunderclouds, even if no tornado forms.
The trip passes through a number of cities and small towns in the Tornado Alley region, so restaurant options may be limited on some days. Halal food may not be available in all areas, vegetarian options or options suitable for food allergies may be limited, and mealtimes may change depending on storm movements. We recommend bringing snacks suited to your personal needs.
Tornado chasing calls for flexibility, patience, cooperation and team spirit, a positive approach to changing conditions, acceptance of long driving hours, and compliance with the instructions of the chase and safety team. Participants who embrace change and enjoy a spirit of adventure usually have the best and most enjoyable experience.

All amounts paid in excess of the non-refundable 20% deposit will be refunded in full.
50% of the amounts paid in excess of the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.

Beyond Destination is a platform that showcases and markets group trips run by specialist organizers. The trip and on-the-ground services are delivered by the organizer shown on the trip page, and all programme details, changes and cancellation policies are subject to the organizer's terms.
We recommend arriving in the United States one or two days before the start of the trip, to adjust to the time difference and get enough rest before the adventure begins. The cost of additional nights and transfers outside the group's schedule is not included in the trip price.
The trip includes long driving hours, and routes and distances may change depending on the storm tracks. Participants who suffer from motion or car sickness are advised to bring the medication or remedies they usually use.
Please contact us via WhatsApp before booking your flight tickets, to receive suggested flights that suit the programme's schedule. The programme includes one group transfer from the airport to the hotel on arrival, and one group transfer from the hotel to the airport on departure. We recommend that your return flight be after 12:00 noon on 28 May.
It is the traveller's responsibility to ensure her passport is valid and to obtain the appropriate visa. We recommend applying early for a US visa and purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers activities, weather conditions and flight delays. Obtaining the visa is the traveller's responsibility, and its fees are not included in the trip price.
