Important information before you register

🏔️About the Trip

A nature and heritage trip through the Chouf and Jezzine over the New Year holiday: hikes, forests, panoramic cliffs and heritage villages, ending with a discovery of Sidon's Mediterranean coast. Arrival: 29 December at 8:00 PM in Beirut. Departure: 2 January at 11:30 PM from Beirut Airport.

Arrival night (29 December): to be confirmed later. Night of 30 December: Baadaran. Nights of 31 December and 1 January: Jezzine (Dar Jezzine — the option recommended by the organiser).

ℹ️Important Notice

The programme is flexible, and final timings will be confirmed once bookings are approved. Some activities depend on winter weather, daylight hours and opening hours during the New Year holiday. On the last day, the flight time takes priority, and the hike or the visit to Sidon may be shortened to ensure arrival at the airport on time. Required fitness level: moderate — the hikes range from easy to moderate-to-difficult (the hardest is on 31 December: 12 km with a 650 m ascent).
